Why Physical Therapy?

about PT

When I came to your facility, I had my doubts about physical therapy. I had one prior experience where it had no value, and I was thinking I would have the same experience here. My carpal tunnel was getting worse quickly, and it was starting to interfere with my job and off duty activities. The emotional aspects of constant pain were also taking their toll.Your staff performed a thorough assessment of my condition. You placed me on an excellent regimen. At first, there was no impact, and I starting to have those same doubts about physical therapy. You all encouraged me to stick with it, because you had predicted it would take about 12 weeks to begin showing results

Very slowly, I started to improve. The pain went down. The intensity and frequency of my carpal tunnel syndrome attacks decreased. Now, I have about an 80% reduction in my symptoms. Things are still improving. My surgeon says I do not need surgery. I am greatly relieved about how things turned out.
I want to thank Dr. Peterson, Dr. Potts, and Mr May. The professionalism of your staff is outstanding. They are all patient and good listeners. Most of all, they enjoy their jobs, and take pride in performing a service for persons who need to address serious physical challenges.
Today is my graduation. I won't forget the lessons I have learned, and will continue on my program indefinitely.

Thanks so much for sending me to Dynamic Performance. These young gentlemen have help me so much with my back pain. They are the most kind hearted two people I have ever met. They truly care about the people they help. They are truly a God send. Thanks to Dr David my back pain is gone. Again I would like to say they are a God send.

I have just completed 3 weeks of physical therapy at Dynamic Performance. The therapy was supervised by Dr Peterson who proved to be a very competent and experienced physical therapist as well as his assistant David May. I would highly recommend Dynamic Performance to any other patient who may require their services for any reason. In the weeks that I have been under their care i feel that I have improved more than I had anticipated. When I started therapy I had sever lower back pain that I was unable to deal with on a daily basis and now I am to a point that I can do daily tasks with little pain.

When My physical therapy sessions at Dynamic Performance were great. Dr Peterson and his staff were very cordial. In brief, they keep you laughing during the work outs. I was referred to them because I had hurt my left knee while working out at the Wellness Center. But thanks to Dr. Peterson and his staff, I am able to move around a lot better.

On day 1 of therapy, the pain in my knee was excruciating. I couldn't bend my knee, could barely walk, could only hop and drag my left leg. The pain began in my left hip and traveled down my left thigh and intensified behind my knee, and midway to my calf. The pain was constant, sharp and shocking. The thing that was most effective in subduing the pain was the stretching exercises (at home and in therapy) and the deep massages to the knee and lower thigh area. The tightness began to dissipate which began to improve the range of motion.

The amazing thing in this whole ordeal was that the doctor and staff knew exactly where the pain was without me having to tell them, and guided me through various walking, stretching exercises. As a result, today my pain level is reduced to approximately 1. And I have been well educated on how to maintain my progress I feel great today! Thanks to a dynamic staff!

Before I started physical therapy at Dynamic Performance, I had seen other physical therapist while serving in the Air Force. The other therapists were unable to rid me of my left shoulder impingement. I experienced excruciating pain when trying to lift my left arm and this was eventually accompanied by a burning sensation. Fortunately for me, I found out about Dynamic Performance. Dr Peterson and his staff were able to identify the problem with my shoulder quickly. After the very first therapy session, I began to get relief from the pain. Initially, I could barely lift my arm.

Now, after a few weeks of following the plans laid out for me by Dr Peterson and staff, I could not be happier. Speaking of being happy, the cheerful and willing disposition of Dr Peterson, David and Robin made it a lot easier to complete my therapy routine. David even did push ups with me, a step above and beyond the call of duty. I highly recommend Dynamic Performance to anyone needed physical therapy. I'm a lifetime fan!

When I first came to your therapy center, I was not in good shape at all. Your staff really made me feel at ease. Thank you for that. You made me feel comfortable the 1st day I came and that made it easier for me. I have improved alot thanks to you and your helpers - a great staff. I will miss coming to therapy. You did a great job getting me back where I am today. Thanks for my strength using my hands again.

When I first came to physical therapy, I had fair range of motion. Since I've been with Dr Peterson I've seen great improvement. I'm still having trouble with backward range of motion. I feel Dr Peterson and his staff has brought me further than I had expected. I feel he and his staff treat you as if you were part of his family and they care about my health and the way I feel. I do feel I need to work on my backward range of motion and possibly extend the physical therapy for a few more weeks if possible.
